MIAMIRE Miami River Boat Tour with the Miami River District Apartments

The Miami River District Apartments were invited as special guest speakers on the MIAMIRE Miami River Boat Tour on Friday, March 30th.

This event was a must for all Developers, REALTORS and Agents....The MIAMI REALTORS® Association and the Miami River Commission invited all for a boat trip up the Miami River. The vessel went past boatyards, shippers, restaurants, loading dockets through the heart of downtown Miami into Biscayne Bay. The tour took us to see the developments and other opportunities for residential and commercial real estate investments.

Brett Bibeau, Executive Director of the Miami River Commission, updated us on what's been happening with the distressed properties and what's been selling and what's not. There is good news about the Miami River Developments!!!

Miami River District Apartments visits the Mega Yacht "SeaFair" Art Fair!

SeaFair The Mega Yacht Art Fair in Miami!

January 2012

Photo: Mega Yacht "SeaFair" arrives to the Miami River District and
is preparing for an Artful Weekend in Downtown Miami.

Friday night for the Butter Gallery, Churned Event

AS SEEN IN THE MIAMI HERALD:

"Art Basel Miami Beach has subsided, but the art fairs go on into the new year. Miami International Art Fair launched Jan. 13 — literally — on an rather unconventional platform: a 228-foot yacht, known as SeaFair, that docked at Miami’s downtown waterfront near the InterContinental Hotel until Jan.16th.

The goal: To take advantage of downtown Miami’s growing reputation as an arts magnet, said organizer Lee Ann Lester, who owns the fair with her husband, David. New condos and hotels and the opening of the Miami Art Museum in 2013 make the location a natural fit, she wrote via email.

This year’s event features works in new media, sculpture, digital and video formats. Although some are multiples from established artists, most are original works by emerging artists — a formula that often results in more affordable prices than those at larger fairs.
Twenty-three galleries will exhibit at the fair. Almost half are from Wynwood, Midtown and downtown Miami (Ascaso Gallery, Black Square Gallery, Butter Gallery, Galerie Lelia Mordoch, Hardcore Contemporary Art Space, Kavachnina Contemporary and Robert Fontaine Gallery, Nina Torres Fine Art and NAC Gallery) and the oft-overlooked art enclave in Coral Gables (Cernuda Arte)." - Miami Herald by Shana Beth Mason
